Last month we celebrated eight years since Concirrus was founded! So, what did we do? With the help of Zoom, we hosted our very own virtual festival ‘Questival’. Read on to find out more.Last month we celebrated eight years since Concirrus was founded by our CEO, Andy and our CDO, Craig! We would usually throw a big party, however this year was a little different due to the current climate. Whilst working remotely, our social committee have been facilitating fun virtual events that tie in with our culture. As a social bunch, we couldn’t let this milestone to go by without celebrating! So, what did we do? With the help of Zoom, we hosted our very own virtual festival ‘Questival’!
It all started off with a top-secret announcement from Andy and Craig, letting us know they would be bringing a virtual festival ‘Questival’ directly to each employee’s home! Special festival treats, including wrist bands, face paints, glitter and disco lights were then dispatched.
The day finally arrived! We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and the team got into the festival spirit with some incredible outfits.
A Concirrus themed quiz, hosted by Andy, kicked off the evening. It focussed on how well we really know each other. Our Finance/HR/IT/Admin team came out on top.
Next our resident DJ, Craig, dusted off his decks for the special occasion! He was backed by a green screen where our Marketing Manager, Joseph’s video skills were on display! Craig
kicked off his set by taking us back in time to the early days of Ibiza, pulling together a set full of balearic disco classics he mixed live. We danced into the night and had a blast!
With restrictions beginning to lift, the team are looking forward to resuming in person social events as soon as it is safe. For now, it was great to get the team together for some much-needed fun and to mark eight years of the Concirrus family.
